I’m amazed at how people all over the world are sheltering in to protect themselves, protect others, and to help the medical professionals. I’m also heartened by people, my two daughters included, who are volunteering their time and materials to make masks, gowns, surgical caps, and other items needed during this strangest of times.
We have been called, as Abraham Lincoln put it, “by the better angels of our nature.”
